Centova Cast creates streams from account templates. The website calls Centova's API (system.provision) with the template linked to the plan, so a new SHOUTcast or Icecast station is online seconds after payment.
Step 1 — Prepare Centova Cast
- Log in as the Centova Cast administrator.
- Open Account Templates and create one template per plan (for example
radio-starter,radio-studio) with listeners, bitrate, disk quota and AutoDJ settings. - Make sure the web interface port (usually 2199, or 2198 for HTTPS) is reachable from your website.
Step 2 — Add the server
- Servers › Add Centova Cast.
- Hostname of the Centova server, Port
2199(HTTPS off) or2198(HTTPS on). - Admin username:
admin; Admin password: your Centova admin password. - Save and click Test connection.
Step 3 — Create plans
Click Import packages. If your Centova version lists templates through the API they appear automatically; otherwise type the template names exactly as in Centova (one per line). Choose Radio Streaming, then set prices in Hosting Plans.
Optional: in the plan's Radio / advanced options set max listeners, bitrate, disk quota, server type (SHOUTcast 2 / Icecast) and AutoDJ — these override the template.
Actions available
- Suspend / unsuspend — Centova
system.setstatus(disabled / enabled); the stream goes offline while suspended. - Upgrade / downgrade —
system.reconfigurewith the new template. - Terminate —
system.terminatedeletes the stream and its files.
