ErrorCause and fix
SSL “wrong version number” or “unexpected eof”HTTPS is on but the port speaks plain HTTP (or the opposite). Use port 2087 with HTTPS for WHM and SonicPanel; 2199 (HTTP) or 2198 (HTTPS) for Centova Cast.
SSL certificate problemThe panel uses a self-signed certificate. Turn Verify SSL certificate off for that server.
Connection timed out / refusedA firewall blocks your website. Allow your website server's IP in CSF/Imunify on the panel server, and check the hostname.
Invalid API key / 401Copy the key again (no spaces). For SonicPanel the API username must be the one shown on the Billing & Automation page.
SonicPanel: IP blocked (HTTP 500)5 failed logins block your IP for 1 hour. Wait, or delete /usr/local/sonicpanel/blocked as root.
Package not foundThe plan's package name must match the server exactly (case-sensitive). Edit the plan and pick it from the list.

Every failed action is saved on the service as Last error and sent to your notifications, so you always see the real reason.
